Multi Switch Riddle – Arduino Toggle Switch Puzzle

The Multi-Switch Riddle is a classic, logic-based escape room puzzle where multiple switches must be moved into the correct position in a pre-programmed sequence.
Only when all switches are correctly positioned, the puzzle is considered solved and a relay is triggered for a defined period.

Ideal for control rooms, technical settings, bunker scenarios, or industrial escape rooms.

This puzzle relies on clear logic rather than chance or time pressure.
Players must correctly interpret clues, recognize dependencies, and precisely implement the correct switch sequence. One wrong step prevents the solution – only the complete, correct combination of all switches leads to success.

The Multi-Switch Riddle is particularly suitable as a central logic element or as part of a larger puzzle chain.

How the Multi-Switch Riddle works

• The number of switches is preset in the code (default: 8 switches)
• The target positions of the switches are defined in the code before the game
• During the game, all switches must be moved into the correct position
• Once all switches are correctly set:
  • a relay is activated for approx. 3 seconds
  • the duration can be freely adjusted in the code

For a new round, the switches must be manually moved to a different position.
